Who is this workshop for?

Are you a resident in Sandwell?

Do you need or want to access council services?

Need to pay your rent or council tax online?

Want to report issues in your area?

 

Then this is the perfect workshop for you. 

 

Workshop Details

You can use your MySandwell account to view your Sandwell council tax, benefits and business rates or housing balances, make payments, request services, report problems and track any enquiries you put in to the council.  This online workshop has been created to provide you with the support needed to create an account and access Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council’s, MySandwell portal.

 

By the end of the workshop you will be able to:

  • Created their own My Sandwell account.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the various services that can be accessed from the portal.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the importance of Online safety.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of how to access the One Stop Shop.

This workshop is delivered online using Microsoft Teams.  A link to the session will be provided prior to your session date.

Entry Requirements:

You will need to provide evidence that you have any of the following:

  • Been a resident of the UK/EU for the past three years.

  • Proof of immigration status
  • ​Have access to the internet via a PC, Laptop, Smartphone or tablet device.

The benefits of this workshop:

This workshop will allow you to become familiar with the MySandwell portal, whether you access from your own device or in one of Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council’s, new self-service One Stop Shops.

 

Teaching

All learning is supportive and safe and where professional teaching is individualised to the requirements of each learner. Learning support will be provided by the tutor.

Are there any additional costs?

There are no fees for this workshop as it is funded by the West Midlands Combined Authority, which is government funding.
