We are looking into how we can can change and minimise this.

For blended courses, you will study 1 week in the classroom and 1 weekn studying from home on a rolling basis for the full length of the course. The classroom based classes are taught at a set time and place and the home studying can be done at anytime in that week. This course is tutor led and they will be available both when in the classroom and outside of those hours to provide help and support with your learning.

You will be taught in a with one-to-one, pairs and small group work, discussion, role play and themed practical activities.  This will provide you with lots of opportunities to develop your Maths skills.

For this course you would need to commit approximately 2.5 hours a week to complete your study.

How will progress be monitored and assessed?

Progression will be monitored through assessment via observation of practical activities, marking of completed work and through group discussion. You will complete an individual Personal Learning Plan and reflect on your own progress each week in a Personal learning journal. Your tutor will provide you with both written and verbal feedback on how you can progress and develop your skills on a weekly basis.
