Freestyle Fitness


Course Details

This course is for anybody to wishing to improve their fitness levels with freestyle exercises of various styles; the course is suitable for adults with learning difficulties and disabilities. You will learn dance and exercise moves to music that will then be performed as a routine. Different styles of music will be incorporated into the course.


Entry Requirements

There are no entry requirements for this course, however you will be required to complete a ‘Physical Activity Questionnaire’ to ensure that the course is suitable for you.

The benefits of this course

The regular attendance to freestyle exercise will help to improve fitness levels and confidence. You will participate in many dance type routines in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.



You will attend classes under instruction by a qualified and experienced fitness tutor.


How will progress be monitored and assessed?

You will agree your personalised learning targets with your tutor at the beginning of the course. You will be observed and assessed during each session, you will also be provided with regular written and verbal feedback by your tutor.



An in house certificate will be provided


After completing this course, could I progress onto another course?

After completing this course you may wish to progress onto further health and fitness courses.  Your tutor will be able to advise you further.


Are there any additional costs?



Equipment Required

We would recommend that you wear loose fitting clothing and suitable footwear for all types of exercise.
